When you join West Community, you not only become a member, you become an owner. That’s because your $25 initial deposit in a savings account is your share in the credit union. We look forward to serving you and hope you will take advantage of the great benefits membership offers.
To Join West Community
1. Review Who Can Join for eligibility requirements.
2. Once you know you’re eligible to join, print and complete
a Membership Account Agreement, call Member Services
at (636) 720-2400 or (800) 500-6860, option 2, or stop by
your payroll department if you are an employee of one of
our employee groups.
3. Open a savings account by completing and signing the
Membership Account Agreement. Return it with at least a
$25 initial deposit and a current copy of your driver's license
to our main office in Brentwood. (The USA PATRIOT Act
requires identity verification for all new accounts.)
To Open a Checking Account
1. Follow the instructions above to join by opening
a savings account.
2. Review our Checking Accounts for more details.
3. Complete the checking section of the new member packet
and send it along with the initial checking account deposit
required to our office in Brentwood or O’Fallon. Then follow
the directions as listed above.
To Switch Your Accounts to West Community
1. Print and complete a new member packet.
2. Complete the appropriate items in the Switch Kit Checklist
including forms for checking account closure, automatic
payments and direct deposits to ensure funds are directed
to your new account.
3. Visit our office in Brentwood or O'Fallon with the completed
forms and a $25 deposit. You may also mail them.
