Consumer Lending/Inside Sales/Personal Banking

West Community Credit Union has an excellent opportunity for you to use your financial knowledge and sales abilities to assist, educate and sell appropriate consumer products and services to our members. Position is located in our Brentwood, Mo. location. Responsibilities include:

• Identifies and cross sells appropriate deposit, consumer loans and convenience products by assessing members' financial needs and offering suitable products.
• Opens depository accounts (savings, checking, certificates of deposit, money markets and IRAs) and assists members with questions.
• Completes "warm calls" to members to follow up on service levels and to provide the Credit Union with the opportunity to cross-sell additional products.
• Educates members on the benefits and features of our products and services.
• Provides information to members and answer inquiries in-person and over the phone in an environment of heavy phone volume. Makes follow-up calls to members.
• Assists team members with loan closings and member inquiries.

Preferred candidates will have college and experience selling financial products and services and/or have proven ability selling in an inside sales environment. Preference will be given to those with a working knowledge of consumer and home equity loans, loan documents, and closing loans for auto, signature and home equity loans.

Candidates must have excellent communication and problem solving skills, the ability to discuss members' personal financial information with clarity and discretion, and have the ability to identify needs.

West Community Credit Union offers a base salary and monthly incentive plus benefits including 401(k) and pension. Hours: Monday–Friday and alternate Saturdays.
